AHA Heartsaver CPR
Ridgecrest Regional Hospital offers many American Heart Association (AHA) approved classes to the public.
Teen CPR is for teens 12 years and up. This class teaches how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants. It will also give hands on instruction on how to help someone that is choking. The next class is Friday, June 12 at 9am-1pm. Pre-registration is a must. Call (760) 499-3831 to sign up and receive your book ahead of time to be read before class. This class costs $10.
Heartsaver AED class is offered for anyone in the community. This class covers infant, child and adult CPR. It also includes how to use an AED as well as choking for the infant and child/adult. This class is ideal for anyone caring for the elderly or the young. It prepares you to be ready in an emergency situation and truly teaches you how to save a life. The certification rewarded upon completion is good for 2 years. You must pre-register by calling (760) 499-3831. This class costs $30.
